The new TCX Boots collection for 2019

Featuring reimagined designs, new technology and supreme comfort and safety, the 2019 collection from TCX introduces brand-new styles and a range of colour options for popular existing models. With protection at the heart of every design, the line-up introduces a range of new boots for every rider – from touring to racing, and off-road to 24/7 ‘all around’ boots. All styles are CE-approved with the latest in innovative design, materials and technology.

The 2019 collection includes:

Clima Gore-Tex Surround®

Brand-new for 2019 are the CLIMA GORE-TEX SURROUND® boots, introduced into the classic touring line-up from TCX. Developed in close partnership with the R&D department of GORE-TEX®, the new CLIMA boots introduced exclusive innovation and a world-first for motorcycle boots; GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology. TCX have utilised their collaboration with WL GORE and advancements in the outdoor lifestyle market to bring this revolutionary technology to the motorcycle industry. Guaranteeing 360-degree comfort in any climate, and with enhanced breathability without sacrificing waterproof protection, GORE-TEX SURROUND® creates an all-round dry and comfortable ride.

The sole of the boot has non-slip rubber tread with differentiated grip areas, bonded to a rubber midsole with built-in, reinforced PP mid role for rigidity. An exclusive ventilation grid sits within the midsole to channel heat and moisture towards side venting holes on the boot, completed with a breathable, removable footbed. The upper construction of the boot is made with resilient CORDURA® and features a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining membrane for added comfort and breathability.

The touring line combines comfort with high safety standards, and the CLIMA boot is no exception; the boot is fully CE certified and has robust reinforcements around all the most vulnerable areas of the foot, including the shin plate, malleolus, toe and heel counter, as well as a PU shift pad. For comfort, there is a microfibre internal panel with both front and rear padded folds for flexibility. Riders can put on the boot with ease thanks to the elastic zip and discrete, wide Velcro band.

Mood Gore-Tex®

The new MOOD GORE-TEX® is a versatile trainer; casual yet subtly smart with a used look thanks to the soft full grain leather and white brushed sole. The MOOD boots have the stability and safety features required from motorcycle boots – CE-certified with protection in the malleolus, toe and heel counter areas – whilst maintaining the effortless classic trainer look. Not only do they have an abrasion-resistant sole, the trainers have been developed with a specific tread design to aid water evacuation, offer excellent grip, and promote stability on the foot rests.

Fitted with a GORE-TEX® membrane with Extended Comfort Footwear technology, riders are guaranteed breathability and waterproofness in any weather. The MOOD GORE-TEX® is suitable for any lifestyle and any weather, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Comp Evo 2 Michelin® in Blue/White

The COMP EVO 2 MICHELIN® in new Blue/White colour joins the Off-Road line-up for 2019. Developed with enduro and MX innovation, durable materials and off-road movement and flexibility in mind, the COMP EVO 2 MICHELIN® boots are the highest specification in the TCX off-road range.

The partnership between TCX and Michelin® has resulted in a MICHELIN® MX HYBRID SOLE inspired by the Michelin® Power Supersport Evo Tyre – featuring macro grooves for multi-directional traction, enhanced stability and water evacuation, it also has unparalleled tear-resistance and durability.

The new Double Flex Control system introduces an independent PU ankle frame that enhances front flexibility of the leg of up to 18 degrees, and back flexibility of the leg by up to 15 degrees to avoid injury from overextension. The frame also provides additional impact protection and superior comfort levels due to the separate internal upper, designed to surround the leg completely and securely in soft microfibre, keeping dust, mud and gravel out thanks to the elastic gaitor. The COMP EVO 2 MICHELIN® is fully CE-approved.

In typical off-road style, the boots are now available in the bright blue/white colour, alongside the widespread existing colour options; black, white, orange/grey, red/white, black/yellow fluo, blue/yellow fluo, and red/blue/yellow fluo.

Hero Waterproof in Black

From this season, the much-loved HERO WATERPROOF boots will now be available in black. Part of the TCX Vintage Series, the HERO boots have a retro style and plenty of personality, alongside modern construction and technology to uphold the typical TCX brand safety values.

The boot is made with the finest full grain leather with a T-DRY waterproof lining for exceptional water resistance, and it is styled with laces but also featuring a side zip for convenience – a perfect companion to the fashionable café racer motorcycles and able to seamlessly blend between life on and off the bike. For comfort, the HERO WATERPROOF has a padded ankle frame and shaped upper collar. For safety, the boot is fully CE certified with reinforcements in the toe, heel and ankle area, deep tread on the sole for grip on any terrain, and stitched gear change protection.
